SGSkaters Urban Skate
The long awaited one! Been waiting for this urban skate for quite long. And yes, indeed it was a great success!
Met at ECP, supposed to be 1pm. In the end, i went there about 1.15pm, and there were only a few. In fact only 4. Marcus, Stara, Lex and Brian. All no time sense one! Overall, theres about 20 or so who turned up for the urban skate. We waited from a hot sunny sun till we heard thunders and continued waited for the rest to arrive. And soon enough, as soon as we started our urban frmo Fort Road, it started to drizzle! ARGH!!! No choice, had to take shelter, we took a bus direct to Esplanade. We weren't allowed on skates into the bus one!! but stupid me, when i went up the steps, i lost a little control, and NEARLY fell, then the old driver started making a commotion, "EH!! NO SKATES ALLOWED EH!! OIII!!!" zZzzZz Everyone just heck cared him. And guess what, i went up the bus without even tapping my EZ link =X

After we reached Esplanade, wanted to skate through citylink one!! Then the stupid security guards told us that we weren't allowed to skate -.- BECAUSE SOMEONE SKATED BEFORE AND BANG INTO A GLASS. LIKE OMG LAH. -.-''' Then all paiseh-ed, chose a pillar to hide behind to take off our skates, cos Tianjun was the first kena caught, then the rest following at the back striaght away siam and hide. LOL...



In the end, the guards still found us... =(
No choice loh! Everyone took off their skates and do what 97% of the human population would do. WALK!!
We reached Esplanade Underpass, everyone super sian to put the skates back on, ESPECIALLY THE SEBA SKATERS. WAhahaa! And then I think it was Marcus or someone who suggested to race who wear Seba the fastest. So me and Sha the gay or also known as GAY-sha, started competing. LOOK at this gay. He wore the first skate before me one loh! So he kinda had a head start.

HA, OBVIOUSLY THE winner is me lah. Look at sha, the GAY, how to win lah!!! I wear finish the first skate hes still struggling to tie the laces! I wore my 2nd skate, hes still struggling to tie the first skate!! HOW GAY!?!?!? Maybe his bagua made him this gay.

AFter that, we started our nite urban!! it was the coolest so far i've been to! We started from Esplanade, then headed to Takashimaya SC,



Kee Yong and Marcus displaying their FREESTYLE SLALOM moves! Stara the Ex-tkgian, had the tkgs blood in her, THE CHEERNIG ENTHU la! Scream and shout like siao char bo. The bangalas there were cheering also. As expected, securities arrived about 10 mins. Marcus was telling us, "ok we have a 10min break at taka. Do whatever you want.. have a drink, the smokers come over here." Then they started laying the cones, and yup, 10 mins exactly, the guard came with his walkie talkie, calling more of his khakis to "arrest us". Everyone, CHIONG AH!! All left the place in a flash. Before that, imagine us cheering and slaloming, after 10 mins, the whole place was back to the quiet state. As we left, we were cheering and shouting lah, "wooooooo!!!!" And all disappear liao. HAHA... We went through all sorts of terrains. From wet to dry to smooth to rough to upslope, to down slope, down and up the humps and stairs, through congested urban areas and we formed a "dragon". One long line of skaters consisted of about 20-30 to go through the crowd. It was damn cool lah! Imagine that scene! We ended off with a supper after that.
It was definitely the best urban skate despite the previously planned longer route from ECP to Esplanade. Long live SKATERS!
