Tonight, i celebrate my love for you

I shall do a little surprising post right now when i'm supposed to be studying for Chem tomorrow.

Happy mid-autumn festival to all celebrating it! =D

Recently i took my mind off the future, plans and everything. But i came across that Temasek Poly is going to be offering Psychology in 2008. Interesting. I've been thinking of Poly or JC. Still haven't decide yet though. But perhaps, i think i have a clearer direction, whatever the case is, my aim is a single digit for O Levels, and proceed to fighting for places in Poly.

And for nowwww, it's back to pure sciences that i struggle so hard with. Sigh...~

FYE!

Little girl is so busy these days that for the first time she could live without touching the computer for a consecutive 4 days! How incredible for someone you see online almost 24/7 huh. Haha! That's an achievement for me. Being ridiculous.

The final year exams are starting this thurs! I don't have to stress anymore how much i've been studying, and how many pimples i have right now. I'm already planning what i'm gonna fill my schedule with after the exams, seeing that the computer doesn't satisfy me anymore. Kekeke... *hint hint* ;)

Besides that, i thought this was something quite inspirational.

A person is like a book.
A book that should never be judged by the cover.
Some may have a nice cover, while others may not.
But we won't know until we've read the content.
This content is what we fill our life with. Our emotions, experiences and our dreams.
Some may find it a bore writing this book. Some take pride in it.
It doesn't matter how others may judge. Just as long as the conscience is clear that this life is how we want it to be.
At the end, if someone picks your book up and finds joy in reading, you should feel proud.
And if someone remembers your teachings and most importantly what you've done, you know you've left your mark on this world.

They just go round in circles

They say good things always come to an end, well, from i see, good food always comes to an end as well. The past few days of indulgence in food, i've just unloaded the whole pile, into the trusty toilet bowl this morning. And it wasn't a single load, it came in triple. That's what the old men says, what comes round, goes round'.
Greedy me has been feasting on western cuisine at FRIENDS on my birthday brought to me specially by my one and only, then we headed for local hawker fare with a bonus salmon sashimi the next day, followed by a treat at Marché last night. And, of all 3 occassions, i've never failed to eat to my heart's content.

It's time for the well-deserved break to come to an end... cos the final year exams are comingggg!!!
Oh, the excitement... aw well.

Birthday!

My birthday was a very very fantabulous one... Had many friends sending me birthday loves and wishes from all around Singapore. (Sounds like i got hundreds and thousands of friends, but yeah, nice dream there) Spent the entire day in slow motion, taking my time to do things i want. Then at night, the big man and i went for dinner at FRIENDS. The ambience was fantastic. The food was oh-my-gosh. The service was great. And, the company i had was something to die for. Hehehe...

Forest Mushroom Soup(This ain't no powder/msg kinda soup, it's all real ingredients and one of the best mushroom soups around) - $8.90
Timbale of salmon tartare, guacamole & caviar
served with tomato vinaigrette(This dish is a jap and western fusion. The salmon sashimi is prepared in western style, the taste is something i've never had before. Very very appetitising for a starter) - $16.90Seasonal Oysters (This is very fresh and has the zesty mojo feel, slurrrrp)
These are the oysters, baked style.
Big man slurping his mojo...!
2 main courses served together.
One of them is a
Grilled 100 days grain-fed ribeye steak served with
garlic waffles, sautéed vegetables & veal jus - $32.90
&
Roasted sakura chicken supreme stuffed with
ricotta mushroom, split truffle jus - $19.90

Frankly speaking, the ribeye steak is grilled much better than what i've eaten at Aston's. Aston's is becoming more commercialized that their standard is dropping. Besides that, the sakura chicken, it's the most tenderest meat i've ever had for a breast meat.
The meat is so succulent and soft. Unlike the usual dry chicken breast meat you eat.

The owner ( i suppose), served us 2 glasses of complimentary wine, Chardonnay if i'm not wrong, to go with the main course, because "you guys are nice people". It was amusing.
After tha fantastic main course, i was feeling rather filled up already, we had last but not least, our dessert.

Warm valrhona chocolate cake served with
mango yogurt ice cream - $14.90 The big man says the cakes are all ordered and made kinds. So it's freshly outta the oven. It's very rich bittersweet chocolate. The mango ice cream serves as a refreshing sweetener with the warm chocolate.

Thank you Mel, Elaina, Steph, Chanel, Tan, Ruby, Cheryl, Pam, Syaf, Broc, Vic, Claire and Belle for the top and gift vouchers. =D Waoah, that's a lot. Muack~
These 2 are the most satisfied and contented couple on Earth after the dinner.
My birthday gift from him.
Italian style tiramisu made with mascarpone cheese,
sponge fingers and soaked in coffee and lots of liqueur.
Birthday cake from him too.

Happiest birthday girl on Earth...
Blessed with friends and family and loved one.

Move Alonggg

Already in the midst of shifting house. So fun. That is cleaning up; playing with water. i.e mopping floor. Hahaha. My stuffs are strewn everywhere, but i guess it's just gonna take a day to clear and move over. I hope!
I have to study man. (Makes a mental note)
Pasir Ris's gonna be my new home. People must visit me wor. ;)
It's gonna be a new life for me and for everyone else close to me.

Anyway...

TODAY'S THREE NINE'S BIRTHDAY!
We had a bbq party at Elaina's house.
I simply have no voice from the highing around in the karaoke/theatre room. The BBQ was very good indeed. We could barely start a fire cos it drizzled, and the grounds were so wet.
But it's okay, when Belle the hero came, we managed to get it all hot and fiery.
I feel like a fat glutton. Just couldn't stop putting food in my mouth.
I'll update pics when i kope from people who post them up! =D

Thanks for everyone who chipped in for my early birthday gift! =D A big kiss. MUACK. No one wants it anyway. So heartbreaking. (Gosh, hate cheryl) =p

Anyway, back track, few days back, Joe brought Tan and me to celebrate teacher's day. He was in a really good mood. First we went bowling, then pool, then lunch. And throughout, he kept smoking and drinking and smoking and drinking away like he struck some lottery or something. And i found out something~ He doesn't wear undies, for nuts! And apparently, he's not scared of anyone finding that out either. Sheeeez.
